CSD WINS JUNIOR AND SENIOR ELITE 6 AT ADA NATIONALS IN NYC!
CSD has captured first place as the Junior and Senior Winners of the 2016 ADA Nationals, and it’s only the second time in history that a single dance school has managed to win both titles in the same year!
The winning numbers, “Defeated” and “Broken Heart” were both choreographed by Vlad Novitski, who worked with CSD students as they trained throughout the year with our amazing faculty. Accepting the first place Junior and Senior awards at ADA Nationals was both an incredibly emotional and gratifying experience for CSD.
For nearly 40 years the ADA Nationals have been the largest and most respected national championships. The event draws thousands of dancers from the United States, Canada, and even international students each year with its impressive cash scholarships to special awards, priceless critiques from a revered panel of judges, and the chance to perform with some of the most talented dancers. It was such an honour to be there! This year’s National Competition was hosted in New York City from July 10th to 16th, 2016.
Congratulations to all of our dancers who represented CSD at Nationals!
