Technique Week

Kick off summer 2026 by refining and improving your dance technique! Competitive dancers ages 6+ will take daily classes in a variety of styles, taught by both CSD faculty and respected guest teachers.

What makes Technique Week different from Summer Intensive?

Technique Week is about building. Intensive is about applying. Technique Week moves at a slower pace, with more repetition and a strong focus on fundamentals. Expect specific, technical feedback, less choreography, and more drilling.

Intensive runs at a faster pace with higher energy and choreography-driven classes. The focus is on performance, versatility, stamina, and learning and retaining combinations—closer to a convention-style experience.

The daily schedule for Technique Week will be released at a later date. The approximate time frame is 4:30-9:00pm (ages 8+) and 4:30-7:30pm (ages 6-7), though exact times may vary by age group and level.
