Acro Intensive

Description: Our Summer Acro Camp is designed for children who LOVE to spend more time upside down than right side up! Run by experienced, Acrobatic Arts–certified instructors, children ages 5–12 will spend the week learning how to safely and properly execute AcroDance skills such as handstands, cartwheels, bridges, walkovers, headstands, forward and backward rolls, and more.The camp will include trips to the local park and splash pad and will offer an exciting mix of fun, Acro-based activities and focused training.Our goal is for all children to leave the week having learned new skills, feeling a little stronger and more flexible, and with a deeper passion for AcroDance.No experience is needed. On day one, instructors will assess students and divide them into two groups based on age and skill level.

Description: Designed for experienced acro dancers who love a challenge, this intensive is for students ages 7+ with 3+ years of acro, competitive dance, or gymnastics training. Dancers must already have a solid aerial and/or back handspring and be ready to push their skills to the next level. Participants will focus on refining technique, building strength, and increasing power and control, with an emphasis on advanced tricks, variations, and combinations. Our goal is for dancers to leave feeling stronger, sharper, more confident, and inspired by what their bodies are capable of — with cleaner execution and a deeper passion for AcroDance.

The camp will take place in the evenings from 5:00pm to 9:00pm.

For safety and quality, this intensive will be limited to 30 dancers.

COST: $300/week (HST incl.)
