CSD pays Tribute!
To mark the 30th Anniversary of our beloved studio, the CSD community both past and present came together in numerous ways to pay tribute to our loving and compassionate directors, Fran Coyle and Monica Adjeleian. For 30 years Fran and Monica have been the force behind so many successes. Their love and passion for dance has fueled what can only be described as pure artistry in every sense of the word. We thank you both for staying true to who you are and always guiding your dancers with not only knowledge but love and respect as well. You have given them all of the ingredients to enter the world in whatever they choose to do with their best foot forward.
Because they have touched the hearts of so many, the entire CSD family wanted to make this 30th Anniversary very special. Fran and Monica were presented with beautiful memory books containing pictures and messages from friends, faculty, family, students, and alumni!! The competitive team worked hard to put together a sentimental and somewhat comical dance to reflect on many of CSD’s shining moments throughout the years. What better way to celebrate art than with art?! Local well known artist Katerina Mertikas did us the honor of creating an original 30 x 40 painting highlighting some of CSD’s most memorable pieces from the past. We were very thankful to have Katerina herself join us on stage to unveil her masterpiece. A moment where three brilliant artists in their own right were fused together with a common love for the arts. The stage was filled with love from all!! When Fran and Monica look at the painting we hope that they can reflect on all they have done and all they still have to offer. Thank you to everyone that helped to make this a reality. It truly was a collaborated effort!! Thank you Katerina for your time and artistry, words cannot express our gratitude. Above all thank you Fran and Monica for doing what you do and being who you are!! You continue to make our lives a little bit brighter everyday!! XOXO
With love from the entire CSD Family.
